If you want the best boxing gym in Bayside, you’ve come to the right place. We offer boxing classes for everyone, including boxing classes for kids, amateur boxing classes, competitive boxing classes and boxing classes for women.

We don't do cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all workouts, we focus on giving you the training that will help you achieve the results you are looking for. We are open to training everyone from beginner to advanced students, fit or unfit. We provide the right equipment and the knowledge, all you have to do is show up (and put some work in).

Boxing Bayside is run by staff who have a passion for the sport of boxing. Our trainers and coaches have over 85 years experience in the sport, so we’ve seen the benefits that boxing can bring to different people. Whether you want to compete in boxing seriously or enjoy the cardio and weight loss benefits, boxing is an amazing sport.

It’s no secret that boxers have some of the most amazing bodies on the planet. Incredible cardio capabilities, muscle definition and barely an ounce of fat - that’s the typical body you can expect on a well-trained boxer.

Our classes are designed around proven techniques and training regimes that help boxers achieve their best. We offer boxing classes for all different levels of ability so you can improve your fitness. We will help you find the perfect class for your level of fitness and the physical goal you want to achieve. About Boxing Bayside Studio

Life long athlete and experienced trainer

Here at Boxing Bayside, our aim is to provide a safe and friendly class environment for men and women of all skills and fitness levels.

Our boxing membership attracts students with goals that range from general fitness and weight loss through to conditioning and preparation for Professional and Amateur fights. In fact, many of our students compete in amateur events on a weekly basis with some progressing to professional status.

Membership includes five boxing classes per week. Membership also include access to our head coach and senior fighters 5 days a week who all work together to ensure all our members are integrated correctly and safely into the sport.

Our Classes

Our friendly and experienced trainers are ready to guide you in achieving your fitness goals whether you’re just starting out or a ring veteran. We pride ourselves on being the premier destination for boxing training and boxing lessons in Bayside.

  • Technique class.

    Boxing Bayside's technique classes are there for our members who want to spend a bit of extra time perfecting their basic punching and pad holding technique. It’s a great way to consolidate or learn the fundamentals so you can become a more efficient striker and pad holder when you train.

  • Sparring Class

    As our members develop their combat skills they are keen to test them out. So we offer a sparring class that teaches members in a safe and non-threatening environment the art of ring craft. It’s a great way to test your boxing training and take it to the next level. You must have a mouth guard, 16oz gloves and head guards are optional.

  • Power Circuit

    Boxing Bayside's power circuit training class focuses on major muscle movements. We teach you the correct technique first, then we smash through the circuit. This session uses explosive actions developing speed, strength, and cardio.

  • Kickboxing Class

    Learn to use all eight striking points (hands, feet, knees and elbows) to get a full body work out in our Kickboxing classes. Enjoy an action packed session in our state of the art facilities, while focusing on good technique. All levels of fitness, experience and coordination are welcome!

  • Footwork

    Footwork sessions will include lateral and longitudinal movement, where participants will learn, in more detail, the fundamentals of footwork. These classes will include aggressive/defensive positioning, circling, switching stance, and distance. Participants will also learn advanced movement built off the fundamentals, such as backpedalling, shuffling, leading and countering, pivoting on the front and back foot, side step, and the distance drill with movement.

  • Strength Class

    Our strength and conditioning classes focus more on specific localised areas of the body, incorporating a challenging circuit that gives you a full body workout. All levels of fitness and experience are welcome.

  • Bag Work

    Practicing your moves on the heavy bag correctly, will, over time, mean that you naturally perform those moves in the ring. That’s the end goal.
